Acceptance

By visiting our website, submitting a form, donating, or otherwise interacting with the Foundation through this site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our online services.

Who we are

The Dadaa Fifiawoto Nyamadi Foundation is a humanitarian organisation honouring the legacy of Madam Dadaa Fifiawoto Nyamadi-Adabla. We operate across the United States, Ghana, Togo, and Benin, delivering programmes for women, children, and vulnerable individuals.

Eligibility

To submit forms, donate, or volunteer through this site, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) and able to enter into a binding agreement. Under-18 participation in our programmes is handled offline through a parent, guardian, or partner organisation.

Permitted use of the site

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Submit information you know to be false or misleading.
• Impersonate another person or organisation.
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the site.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, server, or related infrastructure.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise harmful.
• Interfere with the security or proper operation of the site.

Donations

Donations made through this site or its linked processors are made to support the Foundation's mission. Unless otherwise stated, gifts are unrestricted and may be applied to any of our programmes at the Foundation's discretion. We will issue an acknowledgement for your records where applicable.

Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error or by an unauthorised party, please email hello@fifiawoto.org as soon as possible and we will look into it.

Volunteer engagement

Submitting a volunteer application does not create an employment relationship. Volunteers serve at the discretion of the Foundation and are subject to our policies, safeguarding standards, and the laws of the country in which they are serving. Volunteer roles may be assigned, reassigned, or ended at any time by either party.

Beneficiary applications

Submitting a beneficiary application does not guarantee assistance. All applications are reviewed, and approvals are made based on the Foundation's available resources, the nature of the request, and our programme priorities. We will keep the information you provide confidential to the extent described in our Privacy Policy.

Content you submit

Anything you submit to us, including testimonials, photos, written stories, and application materials, remains yours. By submitting it, however, you grant the Foundation a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store the content, share it within the Foundation as needed to deliver our programmes, and (for materials you mark as shareable) publish it on our website and communications, with attribution as agreed.

Foundation intellectual property

Our name, logo, photography, written content, and site design are owned by the Foundation or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or republish them without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference (for example, sharing a link to one of our pages).

Third-party links and services

Our site may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party services (for example, payment processors, social platforms, or analytics tools). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties. Their use is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. See our Disclaimer for additional information.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Foundation, its directors, staff, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or participation in our programmes.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the site (or refuse a submission) at any time, with or without notice, if we believe these terms have been breached or that doing so is necessary to protect the Foundation or the people we serve.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Foundation's relevant office is registered for the programme or interaction at issue. Disputes will first be addressed in good faith between the parties; if that fails, they will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the site after we post an update means you accept the revised terms.
